Engineering Design Challenges make wonderful library STEAM activities! These open-ended challenges enable children to use their creative and critical thinking skills to come up with practical solutions to interesting problems.

Artists and Makers Series Art and science meet in these fast-paced, creative classes. Participants who love to draw, paint, dance, craft, and tell stories will love using science to make art!

Story Time STEAM Participants use STEAM to craft, tell, and share their own stories in innovative ways- combining science, art, and engineering. The process can be magical, transformative, confidence-building, and a lot of fun!

Biomes Investigations takes on a multicultural perspective based on the topography, plants, and animals that live around the world.

Claudia is a knowledgeable teacher and skilled instructor. She is beyond well prepared for all activities and does an excellent job breaking down sophisticated science concepts in age-appropriate ways for learners of all ages and stages. Her activities are hands-on and allow for creativity and exploration, and children are intrigued and excited by what they can do with her materials. Miss Claudia and her Cool-ology programs are amazing. Her monthly visits to my Preschool classroom were not only anticipated by the preschoolers but by the teachers as well. Cool-ology is soo cool!! Claudia has been meeting with our 5-year-old daughter and 3 peers 2x a week since April. Each class is so thoughtful with numerous thematic experiments. It’s simply joyful and age-appropriate. They are learning about their world and science through play in ways they can retain. Claudia has such a calm way with kids. She is a gifted educator.
