COOL-OLOGY Engineering Adventures is for tweens entering grades 4-7 and is a series of three programs on Monday, June 25, Wednesday, July 18, and Wednesday, August 15th. COOL-OLOGY is a hands-on learning program inspired to instill the joy of learning to all students by integrating the areas of science, engineering, math, social studies, technology and language arts in a new and exciting way. Come to one class or all the classes. No Registration.
June 25th @ 12:00- Intro to Engineering. Learn all about the basics of the engineering design process. Participants will design and create Towers of Terror and cool Weight Bearing Bridges.
July 18th- The Cool-ology Engineering Adventure continues! Participants will design and engineer their very own bubble mix recipes and bubble wands to see which make the biggest, best bubbles! Then, participants will really stretch their engineering muscles to create FLINKERS, as they investigate the concepts of buoyancy, density and a whole lot more!
August 15th- The final Cool-ology STEM Adventure: Participants will design and engineer their very own water slides, zip lines, and life jackets for babies!
