Cool-ology provides hands-on, inquiry based learning experiences aimed at getting kids really excited about science and the world around them! These active, social, creative lessons help kids better understand how the world works. Science Night/Science Week Programs
In addition to school classroom programs, Cool-ology now offers large group/whole school hands-on, inquiry based science and engineering activities for children. These activities can be held during special school science events such as science week or science nights. Here are the details:
Groups of 50-80 students rotate through 6-8 science stations per hour on a particular topic. Topics can be mixed and # of students can be increased for a science night.

- Energy, Forces and Motion: Catapults/Mini Roller Coasters and more!
- Design It/Build It Engineering/STEM Connections
- Electricity and Magnetism
- Air, Air Pressure, Flight
- Cool Chemistry
Customized programs can be created for your school’s unique needs!
Cool-ology provides all activities (including background information and tips for success), student notebooks* and supplies needed for the event. *Notebooks copied by the school: 1 per child
Teacher or parent helpers man stations. A 45 minute training is provided if needed.
Cool-ology works with the school to obtain parent helpers by providing request form templates.
Cost is $200 per hour. Some travel expenses may apply.

Cool-ology Founder and Director Claudia Esposito is a Connecticut state certified teacher with over 22 years experience working with children and their teachers in preschool through fourth grade. Cool-ology has presented programs in Madison, Guilford, Branford, Orange, Meriden, Middletown, Milford, Prospect, Westbrook and Westport. Cool-ology is affiliated with the Connecticut Talented and Gifted “Minds In Motion” program, the Shoreline Outdoor Education Center in Guilford and the Bauer Park Program in Madison.
